Remedy for Acne Pits on Face

Acne pits occur when a pustule becomes infected or is the result of a long-healed bout of cystic acne. Since theses pits often can occur on the face, they can be damaging to one's self-esteem. Dermatologists and proponents of alternative therapies have come up with ways to minimize the appearance of acne pits.

Home Remedies People often try home remedies first because they are inexpensive. Most home remedies involve products you may already have in your home, such as lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, ice cubes or milk. Lemon juice, apple cider vinegar and milk all contain mild acids, so using them will help gradually exfoliate the skin, while the cold temperature of ice cubes increases blood flow and encourages healing.

1 - Milk contains lactic acid, so applying milk to your face will help to dissolve the uppermost layer of your skin and reduce pits caused by acne. Wash your face with warm water and apply a paste made out of Chickpea flour milk and a few drops of lemon juice. If you have scars and blemishes you can add raw potato juice to help to lighten them.Leave it on for at least thirty minutes before washing it off with warm water. This mixture helps to slough off the upper layer of your skin and therefore using this regularly will therefore help to reduce scars.
You should also use an exfoliating facial scrub to remove dead skin cells and smooth your skin. Most cosmetic scrubs tend to leave your skin dry and flaky and so I would suggest that you use a natural face scrub instead. Make a scrub using papaya pulp, honey and sugar. Papaya has enzymes that are beneficial in the treatment of scars while honey is rich in antioxidants that protect your skin from harmful free radicals.
